A New Website (tomciav.com) for a New (Old) Venture

When I left for London in 2016, I didn't take on new projects for Smarter Learning, the publishing consultancy I started in 2011. I had a full-time job with the Web of Science Group and was using my spare time traveling Europe. Personally and professionally, it was a good three years.

Now that I'm back in the US, Smarter Learning is again in the consulting business, in the areas of relationship management, business development, and content strategy. (And I'm still traveling for business and for fun, but without changing currencies as frequently.)

Smarter Learning will focus largely on the scholarly and academic publishing world, and on the Open Access and Open Science sectors in particular. We'll take on a few mobile app projects as well, which is how the consultancy first launched

You can find details on my website, tomciav.com.

This blog, meanwhile, will return to being, well, a blog. You'll find a link from the tomciav.com website. You'll also see some posts about conferences I've attended or projects I've worked on, and some thoughts on the topics of importance (or self-importance) in my chosen professional discipline.

Thanks, all.
